Its beginning to look a lot like...Fall!!

One thing I love about living in Indiana is getting to experience 4 different seasons (even winter!). My favorite season of the year has just begun..FALL! I love Fall because its the start of football season, apple cider, pumpkin carving, sweatshirts and jeans, and the beautiful colors of the leaves on the trees! So far this Fall has been off to a great start!

Finally...the Colts season has begun! While we had a rough start against the Texans, the Colts were able to come back strong against the Giants last week. I'm grateful that my family has season tickets and that I am able to attend some of the games each season. Last weekend, we rolled out the home opener with a great tailgate party! For father's day, we bought my Dad a tailgate grill so he was excited to use it. It was also great to have some friends in town including Sarah and Adam Rector and my BFF, Brooks! We all had a great time and I'm definately looking forward to future tailgates!

Also, a big event in one of my best friend's lives took place this past week. Audrey Marian Pike was born on September 17th! Audrey's parents, Jimmy and Meghan, and I have been friends since high school. I feel so blessed to be able to share in this special time in their lives. Audrey is precious little girl and is lucky to have a great set of parents! Visiting the new baby in the hospital made me even more anxious for the arrival of my nephew in December! I've been able to visit the baby a couple times now so I can get some "practice" in for being a good Aunt :)

Life changes rapidly as do the seasons of each year. While I'm enjoying the start of Fall, I'm secretly excited for Winter so I can meet my new nephew!
